OSS Transformation Expert – Milano, Milan, Italy
Role purpose: In Digital & OSS Networks (DN&OSS) Operations Support Systems (OSS) is the neuralgic center to monitor the proper network and services functioning, to retrieve information about customers available to answer their questions or solve their problems, as well as to design, manage and synchronize the implementation of support on the network. The OSS Digital transformation is therefore a fundamental step to enable the company's transition towards complete digitalization. The OSS Simplification Program in DN&OSS is a wide program preparing and stepping in the OSS Digital Transformation, rationalizing legacy, simplifying processes, automating detection and recovery actions, cloudification and much more.
Responsibilities
* Role reporting: Location : Milan; Band : G; Reports to : OSS Simplification Program Manager
* Develop and manage program activities, define targets, track open items, and ensure ongoing governance to drive results and prevent escalation
* Coordinate a virtual program team across multiple Vodafone units and country stakeholders, including Digital Networks, OSS domains, VNO, VND, and BRMs
* Set up executive materials (executive dashboards, BI dashboards, slide packs, templates) tailored to different stakeholder levels with key messages and prioritization
* Chair and attend executive meetings; interact with function Heads Of up to CNOs level; fluent in English and aligned to CET/GMT working hours
* Strategize and scout new opportunities to meet program targets and expansion
* Maintain accountability for all aspects of the program, ensuring comprehensive oversight of specifics, phases, team responsibilities, milestones, and critical paths
Qualifications / What the Candidate will bring
* Experience in handling the complexity of delivering programs spanning many teams and countries, coordinating a virtual team across Vodafone units
* Budget cycle experience, business case development, and program process setup
* Ability to define targets, track open items, and ensure governance to drive results
* Master’s degree in Engineering or related field is preferred
