Security Specialist – Monticelli D’Ongina Warehouse The Security Specialist supports the implementation and execution of DHL Supply Chain security strategy, policies, and standards at the 2 Warehouses dedicated to one our client. The role operates in close coordination with Country and Central Security teams, ensuring an integrated approach across all security domains.
\n
The position acts as the local point of contact for all security-related matters, including physical security, operational security, guard force management, incident management, and compliance, with the objective of protecting people, assets, customer goods, information, and the company’s reputation.
\n
Key Responsibilities
\n
\n
- Oversee and manage all security activities at the 2 Warehouse, including physical security systems, guarding services, and operational security processes.
\n
- Coordinate and supervise security guards and external security providers, ensuring service quality, performance monitoring, and compliance with contractual KPIs.
\n
- Implement and ensure compliance with DHL Supply Chain security policies, standards, and procedures across all security domains (not limited to physical security).
\n
- Act as the local security focal point for the sites, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and internal security frameworks.
\n
- Manage and support incident reporting, escalation, and investigations, ensuring timely and accurate communication to internal stakeholders and central security teams.
\n
- Support and participate in security risk assessments, audits, and inspections (internal, external, and customer-driven).
\n
- Ensure the correct implementation and monitoring of security programs and initiatives at site level.
\n
- Promote security awareness and culture across the workforce through training and communication initiatives.
\n
- Ensure compliance and oversight of subcontractors, suppliers, and third-party personnel operating on site from a security perspective.
\n
- Support security-related projects, including the implementation or upgrade of technical systems and process improvements.
\n
- Maintain relationships with local authorities and law enforcement, where required.
\n
\nWhat we need from you:\n
\n
- Bachelor Degree in Legal or related field;
\n
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role;
\n
- Knowledge of physical security concepts applied to warehouses and logistics environments.
\n
- Experience with incident management, risk assessment, and security audits.
\n
- Excellent in Excel and in MS Office;
\n
- High level of attention to detail and accountability.
\n
- Proactive, results-oriented mindset.
\n
- Excellent knowledge of English
