As a Specialty Restaurant Manager, you will lead the operations of a premium onboard dining outlet, ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction while driving profitability. You’ll train, mentor, and motivate your team, providing regular feedback and fostering a culture of excellence.
You’ll monitor revenue performance and implement strategies to boost sales, especially during low attendance periods.
You’ll support special events like birthdays and themed parties, ensuring every detail is perfect.
You’ll manage the reservation system and ensure accurate records of extra requisitions.
You’ll oversee the setup of the restaurant, ensuring ambiance, music, lighting, and furniture are aligned with brand standards.
You’ll conduct audits and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
You’ll supervise cleaning and sanitation, ensuring compliance with HACCP/USPH standards and proper food waste management.
You have an upper secondary school diploma (preferably a hotel school diploma or equivalent) or higher.
You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role on cruise ships or in high-volume restaurants (500+ seats) in 4/5-star hotels, fine dining or gourmet restaurants.
You speak English and Italian at a B2 level or higher, plus one additional language between German or French at B1 level or higher.
You’re skilled in data analysis, guest flow management, revenue optimization, and people development, with a strong command of CRM and MS Office tools.
