PpJoin to apply for the bEHS Manager Caivano site /b role at bPPG /b /p p1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicants /p pJoin to apply for the bEHS Manager Caivano site /b role at bPPG /b /p h3Role Overview /h3 pThe EHS Manager is responsible for leading and managing Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security compliance at the Caivano site, ensuring adherence to local legislation and PPG’s EHS standards, procedures, and processes. This role involves continuous assessment and improvement of the EHS Management System, development of strategic site investments in EHS infrastructure, and collaboration with leadership teams to embed EHS best practices. The position requires occasional travel within the country. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liEnsure ongoing compliance with all applicable EHS legal requirements and communicate these effectively to the local Leadership Team. /li liDevelop, implement, and align local EHS strategies and plans with corporate and regional guidelines, providing feedback to the Country Manager. /li liParticipate as a member of the local Leadership Team, supporting decision‑making and local needs in coordination with the Location Manager and EHS Country Manager. /li liDefine and maintain EHS staffing requirements, coordinating with the EHS Country Manager to secure necessary resources. /li liCollaborate with Process Safety Managers/Coordinators to address process safety requirements. /li liIdentify, prioritize, and manage the local EHS budget in alignment with site leadership and country guidelines. /li liCommunicate and seek approval for any off‑site EHS activities. /li liLead comprehensive reviews and audits of EHS policies, procedures, and performance, recommending improvements and corrective actions. /li liInvestigate incidents, accidents, and hazards, preparing regulatory reports and root cause analyses. /li liDevelop and deliver employee training, emergency preparedness, and quality assurance programs. /li liMaintain and update EHS scorecards, facilitate local EHS leadership team meetings, and participate in country‑level EHS reviews. /li /ul h3Scope And Impact /h3 ul liLead EHS compliance for one or multiple sites with medium complexity and moderate risk. /li liAct as a technical expert and individual contributor, providing guidance and training on EHS processes and programs. /li liExercise independent judgment in decision‑making with minimal supervision. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications And Skills /h3 ul liBachelor’s or advanced degree in EHS, chemistry, engineering, or related science. /li liIn‑depth knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations, with a commitment to staying current on regulatory changes. /li liStrong analytical, evaluative, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to innovate and adapt existing methods. /li liExcellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to influence and collaborate across multiple organizational levels. /li liAbility to manage budgets, resources, and multiple priorities effectively. /li liWillingness and flexibility to travel within the country as required. /li /ul h3Behavioral Expectations /h3 ul liMeet agreed scopes and deadlines, proactively communicate deviations. /li liConduct regular safety observations and incident reviews. /li liMaintain accurate and timely reporting of incidents and performance metrics. /li liEngage actively in EHS leadership activities and continuous improvement initiatives. /li /ul h3Seniority Level /h3 ul liMid‑Senior level /li /ul h3Employment type /h3 ul liFull‑time /li /ul h3Job function /h3 ul liManagement and Manufacturing /li /ul h3Industries /h3 ul liPaint, Coating, and Adhesive Manufacturing /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 pPPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
