LONGi Storage is a fast-growing company specializing in advanced energy storage solutions. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field service engineer to join our after-sales team, focusing on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
\n
This role is ideal for a hands-on technical professional who enjoys working on-site, solving complex problems and ensuring the highest levels of system reliability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
\n
After-Sales Service & Support
\n
Provide on-site commissioning and O&M; services for utility-scale BESS installations.
\n
Perform functional and acceptance testing with customers.
\n
Diagnose and resolve technical issues within battery packs, power conversion systems and related components.
\n
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
\n
Customer Engagement
\n
Act as the primary technical contact for customers after project handover.
\n
Provide training and guidance to customers' operations teams.
\n
Ensure timely, professional communication and customer satisfaction during service interactions.
\n
Documentation & Reporting
\n
Prepare detailed service reports including fault analysis, troubleshooting, repair description and technical recommendations.
\n
Provide feedback to the engineering and R&D; teams regarding recurring issues and potential product improvements.
\n
Support warranty management and escalation processes.
\n
Collaboration
\n
Work closely with project delivery, engineering and sales teams to ensure smooth handover from project completion to service phase.
\n
Coordinate with suppliers and partners for replacement parts and technical solutions.
\n
Requirements
\n
Technical Skills & Experience
\n
3+ years of experience in after-sales service, field engineering or systems commissioning - preferably energy storage, renewable energy sources or power electronics.
\n
Practical knowledge of electrical systems (low/medium voltage), BESS technology, power conversion systems (PCS) and energy management systems (EMS).
\n
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting of battery systems and SCADA/EMS systems.
\n
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, technical manuals and engineering documentation.
\n
Education & Competencies
\n
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automation or a related technical field.
\n
Fluent English.
\n
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
\n
High level of professionalism in customer interactions.
\n
Availability for frequent travels.
\n
