Supply Chain Manager
Purpose of the role
Ensures appropriate parts scheduling, purchase parts deliveries, and logistic flows to make materials available when needed, in line with company cash objectives (Services Business).
Main Responsibilities
* Ensure that employees operate in an environment that complies with company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
* Manage the physical flow, whether internally managed or subcontracted, ensuring activities comply with AZDP standards (Alstom Zero Deviation Plan).
* Ensure material availability through adequate planning strategies, procurement, and physical flow management.
* Optimize hard inventory.
* Coordinate supplier delivery plans for her/his platform.
* Manage her/his team: calculate workload, define priorities, implement development plans.
* Manage the material work package providing QCD commitments.
* Define and deploy her/his continuous improvement roadmap according to APSYS standards.
* Ensure the integrity of data needed to run efficient MRP (Material Resource Planning).
* Provide reporting to management on various supply chain KPIs.
* Participate in customer audits or action plan presentations and follow-up if relevant.
* If relevant, coordinate Master Production and Repair Schedule definition and monitor schedule and shipments to achieve on-time delivery and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
* Master's Degree in Engineering, Economics, or similar.
* Minimum 5 years of recognized experience in Logistics and Supply Chain management, preferably within an international company, with proven People Management skills.
* Experience in Supplier Relationship Management, Material Needs Scheduling, Logistic Flows, and Warehouse Management.
* Working knowledge of ERP systems, including SAP, especially modules used for Supply Chain management.
* Strong teamwork and accountability skills: delegate, encourage, and support responsibility acceptance.
* Operational effectiveness: execute and deliver, identify critical tasks and resources, ensure follow-up.
* Winning and influencing: change opinions of others, approach negotiations with win-win outcomes.
* Effective communication across different levels.
* Risk management: provide early warnings for unforeseen problems for timely corrective actions.
* Transparent communication: deliver clear and concise messages.
