In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing language assets' logic and coherence, grammar and punctuation, spelling, consistency, style, language usage, and formatting, improving customer streaming experience with Amazon language solutions. Tasks may include proofreading and editing subtitles, metadata, and a variety of other written communications. IMPORTANT: This is not a remote position, you are required to work on site. Open to Spanish applicants expected to work from the Tokyo Office. /p h3Key job responsibilities /h3 ul liConduct Linguistic Quality Assurance checks on audio, subtitles, narratives, video, and artwork to ensure overall content quality /li liSupport the implementation of language-related processes to ensure consistency and quality of Spanish language services /li liCollaborate with team members to understand language requirements and deliver quality results /li liStay current with best practices in language services, particularly related to the streaming and entertainment industry /li liContribute to the improvement of language processes and workflows /li liShare knowledge and support other team members on Spanish language-related matters /li /ul h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's degree or equivalent experience /li liExperience with Microsoft Office products and applications /li liNative level proficiency in Spanish (Spain) and fluency in English /li liDemonstrated ability to work independently with moderate guidance /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience providing Spanish Linguistic Quality Assurance services, including translation or linguistic support /li liTranslation or proofreading experience in various formats, including documents and timed texts /li liInterest in the media and entertainment industry, particularly streaming services /li liGood analytical and problem-solving skills /li /ul pOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
