We are looking for a New Technologies Introduction (NTI) and New Initiatives Systems Engineer to join our exciting and dynamic team of Systems Engineers within the Third Parties NPI Engineering Section. In this role you will lead and coordinate the whole engineering effort to collect and define new technologies needs with relevant plans and effort to support the External Customer’s business. You will also lead the engineering effort to support the cross functional team during the Request For Information (RFI) and Request For Proposal (RFP) phases partnering within the Sales team for Avio Aero business development. The position requires accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesCreate a plan and identify resource to complete all Design Phases and Program Gates in line with the NTI process achieving all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) goals such as but not limited to Non Recurring development Cost and Milestone On time delivery. Contribute in defining e and managing with sub-system leader the annual budget, negotiate resource with all departments and create milestone plan and KPI to monitor the progress. Produce monthly report to the leadership team.Lead the collection of contributions in the definition of the Avio Aero technological roadmap for External Customers, in close collaboration with other Engineering Sections (such as CAM for electrification, ATO for Thermal Management Systems and Oil Off performances, Exp. Testing for experimental validations, EMS for material and process development, …).Lead and coordinate the engineering effort to support the cross functional team during the procurement, manufacturing and assembly phases. Contribute in performing the Program Risk Assessment providing the technical risk figures and supporting the team in properly allocating program contingency. Partner with Commercial and Legal team in contract definition and negotiation up to Program Award. Collect from all Engineering Design Organizations the Non Recurring Cost (NRC) figures including but not limited to Experimental Testing, Technological Maturation efforts, consultancies and risk mitigation actions. ensure the fulfillment of Engineering milestones on time, on cost, on quality; ensure fulfillment of Customer Technical Requirements and contractual agreements engineering wise; Develop/execute strategy and drive key deliverables and milestones to meet the overall objectives of the assigned research programs (such as the endurance test of a counter-rotating MGB,Complete the execution of Helo Ecosystem framework. Support the Program Manager and Supply Chain for the sustaining effort on AS360 and AS330 legacy Airbus Helicopter programs.Develops and maintains trusted relationships with Customer through on-going dialogue and effective technical communication.
