Within the Investment Center – Asset Management, the Gestioni Patrimoniali team develops advanced investment solutions for the Bank's clients.
Position Summary
We are looking for a
highly technical, hands-on and curious profile
to support the Asset Management team in
data analysis, automation and reporting activities
, with a strong focus on
advanced Excel usage and AI-driven tools
.
This internship is designed for candidates who enjoy
working directly with data, models and tools
, adopting a "tinkerer / power-user" mindset rather than a purely theoretical approach.
Responsibilities
Supporting the Asset Management team in
portfolio and market data analysis
Developing and maintaining advanced Excel models
(complex formulas, Power Query, pivots, automation)
Building
advanced reporting tools
for portfolio monitoring and performance analysis
Supporting the maintenance and update of
funds and instruments databases
Analyze and synthesize data
Support the generation of investment insights
Collaborating on the development of
internal, data-driven tools
to support investment decision-making
Requirements
Degree (ongoing or completed) in: Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science or similar fields
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving mindset
High interest in
data, automation and digital tools
Good command of English
Nice to Have (Strongly Valued)
Experience with:
Power Query / VBA / macros
data analysis tools
Familiarity with
generative AI tools
(Copilot, ChatGPT or similar)
Interest in financial markets
Basic knowledge of:
Bloomberg or financial databases
Programming languages such as Python or SQL (not mandatory)
