The purpose of the job is to ensure the operational maintenance of systems and tools related to the machine lifecycle; be the reference for troubleshooting or implementation of improvements for some machines; and be responsible for BOMs and configurator of price list machines.
In this position, you will have the following responsibilities:
* Evaluate possibilities for cost reductions, optimizations, production flow improvements, and assembly ergonomics by gathering ideas, issues, and feedback.
* Execute necessary changes to standard machines after discussions with Product Management, Marketing, Customer Service, and Development functions.
* Manage bills of materials, standard components, and machines’ entry lists and CAD configurator.
* Replace commercial components.
* Perform mechanical drawing and structural calculations for mechanical design.
* Support the strategic sourcing and quality departments with technical advice on materials from external suppliers.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* A degree in Engineering or a Technical Diploma.
* Knowledge of CAD 2D and 3D.
* Fluent spoken and written skills in both English and Italian.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
