You will serve as a vital local HR partner, aligning the country's agenda with the overarching people strategy. Your role involves actively driving the Hiab People Strategy and overseeing key processes such as salary reviews, payroll, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, employee retention, termination, global mobility, talent development, learning and development, and performance management.Main tasks and responsibilitiesProvide local operational support and advice for Hiab units, management teams, managers, and employees on HR topics, initiatives, and coaching. Collaborate with local line managers, employees, division HR, HR Services, project teams, and external stakeholders.Implement and support strategies, initiatives, policies, and programs aligned with Hiab's People strategy and business goals at a local level.Develop, implement, and maintain local HR policies and procedures, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with Hiab standards. Coordinate organizational and restructuring changes.Manage employee relations issues, maintain constructive works council and trade union relationships (if applicable), and ensure compliance with employment laws and HR policies.Oversee vendor relationships for payroll, recruitment, healthcare, pensions, and insurance benefits. Negotiate contracts and monitor service levels for cost-effectiveness and quality.Address operational HR issues, including employee negotiations, providing guidance and coaching to line managers.Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory HR responsibilities, including payroll, pensions, insurances, and data protection.Collaborate on payroll operations to ensure efficiency, reliability, and compliance with local legislation. Act as an advisor on payroll matters and coordinate with authorities.Drive local salary review processes in line with global policies, including market salary benchmarking.Develop and implement local employer branding strategies aligned with the global brand.Support recruitment efforts to meet staffing targets.Implement global HR training locally, develop additional training initiatives, and collaborate with external education providers.Manage local HR communications, aligning with global guidelines.Handle local HR data, including sick leave, salary benchmarks, turnover, and vendor costs.Collaborate with QHSE teams on health, safety, and occupational health issues.What you'll need to succeedDegree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).Proven experience as an HR manager or similar role, preferably internationally.Extensive experience managing a broad range of HR topics in a sizable organization.Knowledge of local employment laws and HR legal practices.Strong stakeholder management skills.Experience working with centralized HR teams and adapting to organizational changes.Ability to resolve significant issues independently.Analytical skills for data interpretation and decision-making.Experience overseeing external vendors and managing costs.Experience with change management initiatives.Strong IT skills, numeracy, and a mindset for continuous improvement.Commitment to an Employees First culture and safety mindset.We offer youA challenging position within a global organization offering diverse tasks that support professional growth.Interested in joining?If you're excited about this opportunity, please submit your application, including your salary expectations and CV, by 25.10.2024.Hiab is part of Cargotec and is the world’s leading provider of on-road load handling equipment, services, and digital solutions.
