All about the role: The Security Specialist is responsible for managing all security-related activities and implementing Electrolux Group Security guidelines. Our goal is to increase business resilience, protect Electrolux assets, and create a safe working environment for staff and visitors. The role requires a proactive approach, cross-functional collaboration, and an ability to represent Electrolux Group to external stakeholders. What you’ll do: We are looking for a Security Specialist who will be responsible for security and resilience, with a particular focus on our Italy sites. In detail, you will: Work with key stakeholders to identify and mitigate local security and safety risks. Ensure the implementation of relevant security controls and routines at Electrolux sites. Engage site management and relevant functions (eg. logistics) within the region to create awareness of Group Security guidelines. Conduct security awareness training and champion internal security initiatives across the business. Assist in developing and maintaining relevant security manuals, and incident response protocols in consultation with key stakeholders (Group Risk Management, HR, Legal, Facilities Management, Health & Safety etc). Annual review of Italian guard force training; ensure all mandatory permits remain valid and maintain guard force professionalism. In consultation with site management, set and monitor security budgets, including purchase orders (within policy) and invoice control. Drive cost efficiency projects in security. Mange contracts with security-related suppliers, establishing and monitoring service levels and KPIs. Support Facilities Management/ Health & Safety and participate in development of fire prevention, emergency response and business continuity plans. Ensure all security-related incidents are properly reported, recorded officially and investigated. Establish continuous improvement plans to maintain adequate protection and site safety. Coordinate and oversee security for Electrolux Group events within Italy (both internal and external). Provide liaison with relevant law enforcement agencies and external security membership bodies Who you are: 5 years’ experience in corporate security is essential, ideally within a global firm. Knowledge of physical security controls and modern security technology is required. Facilities Management or Risk Management experience is considered a plus. Knowledge of incident response procedure and crisis management planning. Good knowledge of the security landscape, particularly in Italy and Europe. Collaborative and proactive approach. “Hands-on” in tasks but able to see the broader business perspective. Effective communication verbally and in written form. Proficiency in Italian and English required. Another European language will be considered a plus. Where you’ll be: You will be based in Porcia, located in the metropolitan area of Pordenone (Northeast Italy), where the main Electrolux R&D centre is located. Here, in a dynamic environment, we develop and test domestic appliances such as Dishwashers, Washing Machines, Washer Dryers and Tumble Dryers.
