The role will also be responsible for ensuring that IT software — particularly factory and trackside tools — is properly maintained, regularly updated, and continuously enhanced through the introduction of new features, ensuring reliable and effective application across the business.\nResponsibilities:\nSoftware Development and User Support\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain high-performance software solutions supporting factory and race operations;\nDevelop tools to enhance data acquisition, analysis, and visualization;\nOptimize code performance and ensure low-latency communication between systems;\nWrite and maintain documentation, version control, and testing processes ensuring alignment with the Team’s development standards;\nSupport users in case of problems with software developed in the department, reply to calls or tickets;\nConstantly improve and fix the software developed within the department, in particular factory and trackside IT tools;\nCollect the enhancement requests from the departments manage requests according to business needs and priorities.\n\nCollaboration and Professionalism\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional departments and IT infrastructure teams to integrate software into the Team’s technical ecosystem;\nCommunicate effectively with external and internal groups such as suppliers, consultants, colleagues, etc.;\nProvide flexible attendance and attitude to work, both in line with the requirements of the role and any specific requirements of the projects.\n\nProactivity and Innovation\n\nSupport continuous improvement and innovation across software platforms and workflows;\nContribute to software architecture discussions and technology strategy.\n\nExperience Needed:\n\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field;\nExtensive professional experience in software development, preferably in web development or high-performance environments;\nExperience in motorsport, automotive, or HPC (High Performance Computing) environments is highly desirable;\nStrong proficiency with JavaScript, Svelte, React or C# (experience with multiple languages is an advantage);\nExperience with relational databases (management and query), data streaming, and API development (REST or GraphQL);\nSolid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and DevOps principles;\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail and code quality;\nUse and manage source control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub) to maintain code integrity and versioning;\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (mainly Azure) and CI/CD pipelines;\nPassionate about technology, performance, and innovation in motorsport;\nAble to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high quality of work;\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills;\nStrong sense of ownership and accountability;\nProactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven mindset;\nFluent in English (spoken and written).\n\nWhat we offer\n\nWorking in a young, collaborative and international environment.\nTailored training.\nCompany Events / Briefings.\nFree Gym Membership.\nBonus scheme.\nAnnual salary review process.\nPrivate health care cover.\nCompany contributed pension scheme.\nLife assurance scheme.\nCycle to work scheme.\n\n
