Position: Production Planner Offshore
You will join our Fabrication Control Management (FABCOM) Department in the ABSER Business Line, responsible for:
Tasks During Bidding Phase:
* Support defining procurement and fabrication strategies, project schedule, and manhours estimation based on bidding documentation and data analysis.
At Project Start-up:
* Assist in releasing project schedules related to fabrication activities, aligning engineering and procurement deliverables.
* Contribute to the preparation of work breakdown structures and ensure the issuance of estimated man-hours.
During Project Execution:
* Ensure preparation of cycled man-hours and operative planning (work-pack issuance).
* Monitor actual vs. cycled man-hours and produce ETC (Estimate To Complete) analysis.
* Support decision-making on project modifications, providing qualitative and quantitative analyses.
* Ensure timely upload of project data and feedback into the yard management system.
* Support continuous improvement in operative matters.
* Coordinate pre-fabrication and fabrication activities, managing workload and manpower saturation.
* Develop multi-project production plans considering manpower and external resources.
* Issue the project execution plan.
* Assess time and cost impacts of subcontractor claims.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Master's Degree in Management, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
* English proficiency: B2/C1 level.
* Permanent contract.
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in production planning.
* Advanced skills in MS Office.
* Soft skills: problem solving, teamwork, independence, flexibility, availability for offshore rotation.
Location:
Willing to relocate to sites worldwide or work remotely. Based at Milano HQ.
