Your RoleThe intern will support the R&D; team in the characterization and evaluation of plastic materials.

The role includes laboratory testing, data analysis, and development of a structured materials database.
The intern will also contribute to preliminary technical feasibility assessments, providing analytical and documentation support to ongoing R&D; projects.Main ResponsibilitiesPlastic material characterization and testing: experimental characterization of materials; active support on test specimen production; analyze and interpret laboratory test results.Material database development: collect, validate, and organize material data from laboratory tests, suppliers, and technical data sheets; ensure proper data traceability and compliance with internal R&D; procedures.Technical support for feasibility studies: assist in technical evaluations of new materials for specific product applications; provide technical summaries to support decision-making in early-stage development.Delivery of project milestones to internal and external stakeholders.Main RequirementsEducational background in Materials Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.0-1 years of work experience.Strong knowledge of polymer science and plastic materials properties.Understanding of injection molding processes and material behavior.Familiarity with laboratory testing methods for mechanical, thermal, and physical characterization (tensile testing, DSC, TGA, DMA, etc.).Hands‑on experience with plastic material processing technologies and machinery (injection molding, extrusion, compounding) is a plus.Strong problem‑solving skills.Solid experience with Microsoft Office Suite.Comfortable working within an industrial/manufacturing environment.Fluent in English and Italian.BenefitsA fast‑paced environment where you will start leaving your mark from
