We are looking for a skilled Cloudera Expert Developer to join our Analytics Offering.
DXC Analytics is focused on providing customers innovative solutions and high added value, in the following areas: Analytics Solutions and Services, Big Data Platforms, Information Governance, Business Intelligence & Data Management, Artificial Intelligence and IoT Analytics.
Key Responsibilities
* The ideal candidate will develop and maintain advanced data pipelines and solutions on the Cloudera/Hadoop stack, ensuring seamless integration and automation across environments through CI/CD pipelines
* You will work closely with architects, data engineers, and DevOps teams to build reliable, scalable, and efficient data processing systems that empower analytics and data-driven decision-making
* Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues within the Cloudera ecosystem
* Contribute to continuous improvement of coding standards, development practices, and deployment automation
Qualifications
* Strong experience in Spark (Scala or PySpark) and Hadoop ecosystem (Hive, HDFS, Impala, Oozie, Kafka, etc.)
* Solid hands-on experience with Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) or similar Big Data platforms
* Proficiency with GitHub and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)
* Familiarity with Linux-based environments and scripting (Bash, Python)
* Experience in building scalable, distributed data processing systems
* Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Nice to Have
* Experience with cloud integration (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for hybrid Cloudera deployments
* Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Exposure to data governance and security frameworks (Apache Ranger, Atlas)
* Understanding of data quality, lineage, and metadata management
* Cloudera or Spark-related certifications
