The role is a hands‑on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operation responder. If you like to use your electrical and mechanical skills to solve problems, we’d like to meet you. As a facility owner team, ensure remediation of safety risks/issues in conjunction with other teams. Own the safety initiatives and projects to foster a strong safety culture. /li listrongENGINEERING FACILITY OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE /strong ul liOperational experience and familiarity with electrical and mechanical equipment, including Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS’s), Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS's), Diesel Generators, Chillers, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Exhaust Fans, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), and Transformers. /li liTroubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA’s). /li liTake daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds/log‑taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.). /li liSupervise contractor or Engineering Operations Technicians to ensure proper operation and maintenance of all facility equipment. /li liDrive continuous improvement efforts on infrastructure through standardization of procedures and policies, while delivering performance against agreed metrics. /li liProvide training and guidance to Engineering Operations Technicians and assist in recruiting efforts. /li liLead the root cause analysis for operational issues, and conduct meetings with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to finalize mitigation strategies. /li /ul /li /ul h3Physical requirements /h3 ul liManual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with regulations). /li liAbility to work shifts (morning, late and night). /li liOn‑call rotation reaction to off‑duty emergency calls. /li liWork at heights and from ladders; in a noisy environment with ear protection. /li liPerform physical tasks during the shift. /li /ul h3About the team /h3 pstrongDiverse Experiences /strong – AWS values diverse experiences.
