Job Description
Reporting to the Purchasing Coordinator, the resource will be responsible for the strategic management of assigned product categories, ensuring competitiveness, efficiency and quality.
* Managing the supplier portfolio and sourcing for the assigned product area;
* Actively participate in product development in collaboration with various functional teams, ensuring the procurement of materials at the best price, quality standards and within the required delivery times;
* Issue purchase orders and work orders via the management system and follow up on material delivery and complaints;
* Monitor purchasing KPIs (savings, speed, quality);
* Establish and maintain strong relationships both internally with various departments and externally with suppliers.
Experience and Skills
* Diploma or degree in Electronic Engineering;
* Good knowledge of English (B2 level);
* Previous experience in the manufacturing/industrial sector;
* Strong negotiation skills;
* Hands‑on approach;
* Purchasing process, preferably in the manufacturing/industrial sector, automotive or machinery assembly;
* Elements of purchasing planning;
* Product sourcing techniques;
* Elements of international contract law;
* Terms and conditions of supply in the relevant sector;
* Elements of internal and external logistics management;
* Inventory management criteria;
* Reading mechanical and electrical drawings.
