The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, efficient, and sustainable solutions. This role plays a crucial part in the software development lifecycle, stakeholder engagement, and strategic technology direction within the organization. /ph3What You\'ll Be Doing /h3ulliAct as the Technical Leader for New Ireland, owning end-to-end solution design across delivery streams. /liliDrive the software development lifecycle, from business requirements through to deployment and production support. /liliDesign, plan, and oversee implementation efforts to ensure solutions are robust, efficient, and aligned with architectural standards. /liliCollaborate with New Ireland’s partners and Bank of Ireland to align solution architecture with enterprise goals. /liliEvaluate and propose new technologies, frameworks, and architecture patterns for continuous improvement. /liliRepresent technical solutions to Security and Architectural governance bodies. /liliSupport data representation initiatives in both Cloud and on-premise environments. /liliMaintain architecture artefacts and documentation. /liliSize and scope delivery efforts based on solution architecture. /liliBuild strong relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders across business and IT teams. /li /ulh3What You\'ll Bring Along /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. /liliAWS Associate Solution Architect Certification (or on track to becoming certified at Professional level). /liliMinimum 5-10 years of technical experience in implementation and delivery. /liliExperience in technical delivery; 1+ year in solution/technical architecture roles. /liliPrevious experience working with midrange systems, ideally Life400 on iSeries platform. /liliTeam leadership and people management experience is a plus. /liliExperience designing solutions across infrastructure and application layers. /liliProven ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. /liliProven experience in data architecture, storage, and management. /liliSolid understanding of security foundations and best practices. /liliStrong knowledge of communications and system architecture. /liliDemonstrated expertise in application design and development. /liliProficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, or C#. /liliFamiliarity with networking principles and protocols. /liliHands-on experience with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD methodologies. /liliIn-depth knowledge of business processes and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows. /liliAbility to create and validate proofs of concept (PoCs) to support solution feasibility. /liliExperience working with midrange platforms is highly desirable. /liliExcellent command of both spoken and written English. /li /ulh3Seniority level /h3ulliAssociate /li /ulh3Employment type /h3ulliFull-time /li /ulh3Job function /h3ulliEngineering and Information Technology /li /ulh3Industries /h3ulliIT Services and IT Consulting /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
