About the Position:
We are looking for a Electronic Board Layout Designer Specialist to join the Motorsport R&D hardware electronic team, reporting directly to the R&D F1 and Motorbike HW Electronic Manager.
This position is based at our office in Venaria Reale (Turin area) anyway it's in scope for smartworking according to Company policies ensuring at least 2 days of presence in the office.
As the Electronic Board Layout Designer at Marelli, you will be responsible for all the activities related to the electronic multilayer boards designing and management.
Your Responsibilities will be:
* Design of the complete layout of electronic multilayer boards.
* Feasibility study and preliminary layouts
* eCAD management, new release/ feature updating
* Component library management
* Signal integrity simulation
* Release and update the documentation of the boards
* Manage and update the already developed boards
* Support activity of the Motorsport Production (SOP and issues)
What Qualifications you will bring:
* High school technical diploma or 3-years Degree
* Education oriented to electronic
* Good English and fluent Italian
* Knowledge of Standard eCAD for electronic layout design.
* At least 5 years of previous experience in similar role within a manufacturing environment where final product is composed by electronic boards and other components
* Knowledge of electronic boards assembly process and related standards (i.e. IPC)
* Knowledge of EMC problems, signal integrity, and guidance rules.
Other skills that we would welcome:
* Knowledge ofMentor Siemens Xpedition Layout
* Knowledge of Designer VX
