Bedeschi. is seeking a Senior Project Manager (m/f/d) for its office in Padova. As the business continues to expand, the firm is looking for experienced managers with a strong engineering background who can manage complex projects with a high degree of autonomy. This will allow the executive team to focus on strategic growth and further development of the organization’s structure.
Your profile:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or a related field
2. Fluent Italian and English, additional foreign languages are a plus
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite
4. Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management for industrial machinery and plant projects
5. Strong knowledge of Project Management tools and methodologies (., PMI, PRINCE2)
6. Experience in managing contractual and financial aspects of projects
7. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
8. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
9. Customer-oriented approach with a focus on delivering value
Tasks:
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the operational and managerial oversight of industrial projects, ensuring effective coordination across cross-functional teams. The role requires maintaining time, cost, and quality control, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements, and optimizing customer satisfaction.
10. Assist in the final phase of commercial negotiations.
11. Verify the completeness of all contractual documentation before project initiation.
12. Financial & Risk Management Analyze the commercial budget and develop a comprehensive financial plan (Cash Flow).
13. Assess potential risks, including Liquidated Damages and Back Charges.
14. Maintain an updated project budget and promptly report significant deviations to management.
15. Oversee time and cost control, anticipating risks and coordinating with key departments (Project Engineering, Purchasing/Expediting, Logistics, and After-Sales).
16. Approve technical variations in collaboration with the engineering team and coordinate supplier selection with the Buyer.
17. Manage project scheduling, including Expediting and Logistics activities.
18. Ensure the project is completed in full compliance with PAC and FAC contractual requirements.
19. Manage all project-related client interactions until PAC/FAC signing and the release of bank guarantees (excluding the Warranty Bond).
20. Project Closure & Reporting Prepare the project completion report in collaboration with the Project Engineer.
