Purpose of the Job Define architectures and solutions for train brake system Define and integrate brake system at train level Manage functional and diagnostic brake requirements with supplier Follow the complete train development cycle from tender to project and validation Missions Brake System Engineer follows the complete train development cycle from tender to project and validation, shall: Define train brake architectures that satisfy performances required Verify, at train level, the feasibility of different brake architecture Define brake chain components Integrate, at train level, brake chain components Manage functional and diagnostic brake requirements with supplier Perform the feasibility study of kinematic brake performance Define train test and validation strategy with the validation team Manage customer, internal and transversal requirements.
