We are looking for a consultant to provide advanced engineering support in the field of satellite communications, with a primary focus on the implementation of a secure satellite system.

The role requires strong expertise in radio propagation modelling and link budget analysis for satellite systems (GSO and NGSO), as well as proven experience in interference assessment, coexistence studies, and system performance analysis.
The successful candidate must also have an in-depth understanding of the ITU regulatory framework for satellite systems, including frequency coordination procedures, Article 22 provisions, and NGSO-to-GSO / NGSO-to-NGSO coexistence analyses.
The consultant will provide continuous engineering support for complex satellite coordination and compatibility studies, including:
Interference analysis (GSO protection under ITU Radio Regulations Article 22)
Interpretation of simulation results and translation into engineering conclusions for regulatory coordination
Contribution to bilateral and multilateral frequency coordination processes with national administrations
Support to scenario-based studies for coordination meetings and regulatory discussions
Knowledge transfer to internal teams (methodologies, assumptions, results interpretation, and tool training)
All required software tools and licenses will be provided
University degree in Electrical / Telecommunication / Electronics Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 10 years of experience in satellite communications, radio spectrum, and frequency coordination
Strong hands-on experience in radio propagation modelling and link budget xjrgpwk analysis for satellite systems (GSO and NGSO)
Strong hands-on experience in RF interference assessment, coexistence studies, and performance analysis
Solid understanding of ITU regulatory framework for satellite systems (including Article 22 and coexistence analyses)
Excellent English (spoken and written)
Availability for occasional travel to meetings and regulatory discussions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Occasional travel required for coordination meetings with national administrations and stakeholders
