Regional Manager Germany and Scandinavia

We want to strengthen our commercial activities in the region and are therefore seeking an energetic colleague with relevant sales experience and knowledge of the agricultural sector. As European Sales Manager – Animal Feed & Nutrition Solutions, you will have overall responsibility for driving sales growth in the German and Scandinavian markets. You will develop and manage B2B sales of animal feed solutions and feed additives, primarily through distributors and strategic partners.
The role combines commercial sales leadership, market development and solid technical understanding of animal nutrition and is a key position in the company’s continued European expansion. The position is based at the HQ in Denmark and involves significant travel within the region.
Key responsibilities:
Full sales responsibility for Germany and Scandinavia
Develop and execute the regional sales strategy for animal feed and nutrition solutions
Build, manage and further develop a strong distributor and partner network, ensuring the necessary product knowledge, with help from the internal Product Management team
Identify and develop new business opportunities and markets
Drive sales activities together with distributors, including training and market support
Conduct customer and distributor visits, attend trade fairs and industry events
Provide commercial and technical support to customers in cooperation with internal Product Management specialists
Manage sales budgets, forecasts and performance tracking
Collaborate closely with R&D;, marketing and supply chain teams
Your base will be in Hedensted, but you are expected to be present in your sales areas regularly, with a travel activity of at least 60/80 days per year.
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within:
Animal feed
Feed additives
Animal nutrition or livestock solutions
Demonstrated experience working with distributors
Strong knowledge of the German market, including customer structures and business culture
Background or solid understanding of animal nutrition is highly valued
Commercially oriented education with technical understanding
Formal education in animal nutrition is preferred but not a requirement
Strong negotiation and relationship‑building skills
Ability to translate technical solutions into commercial value for customers
Language Skills & Personal Profile
Fluent German, spoken and written (mandatory)
Professional level of English
One or more Scandinavian languages is an advantage
Self‑driven, result‑oriented and highly motivated

Commercially mindset with a technical curiosity
