Overview
The Associate Compound Engineer, according to the CCNL and company directives, performs the following tasks (exemplifying and not exhaustive):
What You'll Do
1. Conduct lab testing of materials and products, applying standard test methods or experimenting with new approaches for sample evaluation. Result interpretation beyond data reporting is expected.
2. Operate workshop compounding lines and injection machines. Handle material weighing, mixing, and molding on a micro and small scale in pilot lines. Prepare machine and mold setups for planned trials and tests.
3. Perform regular maintenance activities on lab and workshop equipment, including coordinating external services.
4. Communicate and train colleagues, partners, or suppliers regionally or oversees.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Diploma in Perito Chimico or Meccanico
- Preferred experience in laboratory testing or plastic/rubber production machines
- Minimum 2 years of working experience
- Languages: English (Intermediate or higher); Chinese or Spanish is a plus
- Basic knowledge of chemical and/or mechanical fields
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently on daily activities and solve small problems
- Precise, detail-oriented, and curious
- Teamwork skills in an international environment
- Hands-on approach
- Reside within 30 km of Ponte San Nicolò
