To support our growth trajectory, we're looking for a skilled IT professional to join our global team as primary point of contact for our Italian operations and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
The rapid expansion of our organization has led to a complex IT landscape, with varying systems in place across different regions. To address this challenge and achieve a unified global IT infrastructure, we've recently merged local IT departments into a single, centralized team consisting of 10-12 experts.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the global IT landscape and deliver solutions at scale. As the sole IT representative based in Italy, you'll focus on tasks related to first-level support, access management, and implementation of global standards in collaboration with your local colleagues and IT professionals worldwide.
Given your presence on-the-ground in Italy, it's expected that you help identify local challenges and integrate them into our global planning processes.
As a member of our distributed global team, regular travel within Europe (at least quarterly) and occasional trips between our offices in Italy and Switzerland are anticipated.
Our IT environment is predominantly Microsoft-based, requiring experience with Microsoft 365, Windows PCs, and Intune.
A background in enterprise IT and a mindset focused on automation and scalability will enable you to thrive and succeed in this role.
You'll be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, including providing technical support for hardware and software issues affecting employees based in our Italian offices.
Some key responsibilities will include:
basic printer setup and maintenance (software installation and configuration), IT onboarding for new employees (device setup, software installation, permissions), offboarding for employees leaving the company, definition and maintenance of device configurations based on employee roles, maintenance of our IT inventory of local hardware assets, coordination with external vendors for hardware, network, and telecommunications services when needed, support with initial setup and access reset for our time & attendance tracking system.
