He/She will be accountable for total material costs (direct and Indirect) within H&W division including inflation/deflation, productivity and working capital (inventory and payables). Leading a team of site sourcing managers, this position will be tasked to define a performing supplier base able to secure plant performances, achieve Material Productivity and Inflation targets as well as working capital objectives. True advocate of the Transformation program, he/she will work closely with the Transformation team to support the move to a less complex and more efficient supply chain. Reports to the H&W Integrated Supply Chain Director PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide Local purchasing support to the Transformation program initiatives that will impact supply chain re-design, particularly on Stamping and Sourced Products Commodities. - Review and monitor supplier performances and quickly act to address any issue that might arise and influence production programs. - Identify opportunities for increased competitive bidding, smarter supplier relationships and more efficient supply chain processes. - Pro-actively conduct market analysis / benchmarking, track market trends and emerging technologies, and manage supplier performance. - Develop and manage supplier relationships, project portfolios and undertake supplier negotiations through relationship-building to maximize business benefits. - Manager suppliers contract lifecycle management including price updates, supplier on-boarding and exit, inflation/deflation cost models, productivity idea generation, etc. - Provide regular updates and forecasts to the business for Productivity and Inflation of Materials. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Education: - BS / ME / EE / B Eng. degree in engineering, or a related field - Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred Skills and Experience: - 8/10 years of professional experience - Minimum 3-5 years of global supply chain management dynamics and interactions with business functions, managing remote-located cross functional teams - Valued a professional experience in industrial companies within different functions like Engineering, Project Management, Quality, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain and/or Operations - Project Management and Project Leader skills; Ability to create a project plan and lead a complex, multiple site and even global project from start to completion; Ability to manage multiple projects of varied size and scope simultaneously - Change Agent able to effectively communicate and execute new ideas at the Executive and Plant Management level - Analytic experience - Experience in International sourcing experience a plus. - Experience in supplier development, materials management, and/or supplier quality a plus.
