About the Company: Our client is an international leader in plastics materials distribution, with HQ in Italy and operations across multiple European countries. The Role: As Corporate Supply Chain Manager, you will report directly to the CFO and take on a corporate role overseeing logistics teams across Europe. This includes driving logistics strategy, optimizing processes, and integrating procurement activities to build a cohesive and efficient supply chain. Key Responsibilities: - Enhance Communication and Synergy:Strengthen alignment between logistics and procurement by closely collaborating with both strategic and operational teams, ensuring streamlined and effective workflows. - Optimize Supply Chain Practices: Review and update supply chain processes to align with company standards, industry regulations, and best practices. - Drive Logistics Strategy: Implement and oversee logistics strategies to support smooth, efficient operations across the supply chain. - Plan & Manage Procurement: Collaborate with the purchasing and PM teams to optimize procurement planning and maintain efficient resource allocation. - Ensure Traceability: Develop and manage systems for tracking goods from their origin to our warehouse and customer destinations. - Lead Digital Transformation: Lead the digitalization of our supply chain operations, integrating IT systems to improve transparency, speed, and accuracy. - Negotiate & Collaborate: Work closely with suppliers and freight companies to negotiate terms, set pricing, and ensure performance excellence, in collaboration with the local Logistics Manager.
