With strong market demand in offshore oil gas, ship repair, and fuel efficiency retrofits, we seek a Drydock Superintendent with experience in ship management and drydock operations to strengthen our project delivery team. /ppbPosition Overview /b /ppWe are looking for an experienced Superintendent / Drydock Manager to join GLO Marine and take responsibility for managing multiple drydock projects on behalf of our clients operating offshore support vessels. /ppThis is a client-facing, hands-on role, ideal for someone with a solid superintendency background and a strong understanding of the specific operational and technical demands within the offshore support vessel sector. /ppAs a key member of our delivery team, you will represent GLO Marine in planning, coordinating, and supervising drydock projects for OSVs. You will serve as the technical link between our clients and shipyards, ensuring that work is executed safely, efficiently, and in line with quality expectations. /ppbKey Responsibilities /b /pulliLead and coordinate all stages of drydock projects, from preparation to completion. /liliAct as technical representative for our clients during drydock execution. /liliCoordinate with shipyards, subcontractors, and classification societies to ensure smooth project execution. /liliEnsure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. /liliPrepare progress reports and provide regular updates to both GLO Marine and the client. /liliIdentify and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the project. /liliPre-docking inspections and Supervision during dry-docking. /li /ulpIdeal Candidate Profile /pulli5+ years of experience as Technical Superintendent, Vessel Manager, or in a similar role. /liliProven track record managing drydock projects, specifically for offshore support vessels. /liliStrong technical knowledge of vessel systems, maintenance, and repair procedures. /liliComfortable working in shipyard environments and with cross-functional teams. /liliSolid understanding of surveyor processes and requirements, including interaction with classification societies and regulatory bodies. /liliFamiliarity with project planning and management principles, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk identification. /liliExperience with building dry-docking specifications. /li /ulpbSkills Attributes /b /pulliExcellent organizational and problem-solving skills. /liliStrong communication skills and the ability to represent client interests. /liliAble to work independently and travel on short notice. /liliProfessional, reliable, and committed to high standards of delivery. /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
