Reporting to General Manager, the Innovation Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's growth and technological edge. He/She will deliver tangible improvements in cost reduction, product range expansion, and market responsiveness, directly supporting the company's goals of operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Overview The Innovation Manager is responsible for leading initiatives to optimize the portfolio of mechanical equipment and steel structures, driving cost reduction, product standardization, and efficient manufacturing. This role leading a small technical team collaborates across functions to advance the company’s innovation roadmap and market leadership. Responsibilities Drive Innovation: Lead initiatives to optimize portfolio of mechanical equipment and steel structures, focusing on cost reduction, product standardization, and efficient manufacturing. Champion Continuous Improvement: Identify, document, and resolve portfolio gaps, implementing and tracking solutions within internal systems to enhance time-to-market and offering agility. Lead Technical Team: Manage and inspire a small team of experienced engineers, setting clear priorities and supporting professional growth. Gather Market Intelligence: Collect and analyze commercial and competitor data to anticipate key trends and maintain market leadership. Deliver Strategic Support: Draft, update, and present technical data sheets to promote equipment and inform commercial strategies. Conduct Feasibility Studies: Lead technical and economic analyses for new or updated products, aligning with the company’s innovation roadmap. Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with sales, production, after-sales, and management, actively participating in leadership meetings. Report Performance: Deliver periodic updates to senior management, tracking innovation KPIs such as cost savings achieved, speed of new product introductions, and customer or market feedback. Required Qualifications Education: Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum five years of leadership experience in engineering teams, preferably within mechanical/steel plant environments. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in 2D/3D CAD systems (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks); hands-on FEA (Finite Element Analysis) use for structural projects. Deep understanding of industry standards, technical drawing, and manufacturing processes for custom-built steel structures. Excellent written and spoken English.
