 
        
        Overview Freelance Field Operations Technician (Sports Events). We are Crionet, redefining the sports experience through cutting-edge technology that powers major events worldwide. We collaborate with sports federations and broadcasters, delivering innovative solutions that connect the field of play to the control room. 
The Role We’re looking for motivated and travel-ready freelancers to join our Operations Team. You’ll take part in onsite missions (10–12 days) across the globe, supporting major sporting events — from setup to live operations and dismantling. As a Crionet representative onsite, you’ll ensure technical requirements are met, work closely with local staff, and help make each event a success. You may work independently or within a multicultural team, tackling real operational challenges with a hands-on mindset and support from Crionet specialists. You’ll receive full training on our systems; what matters most is your attitude, precision, reliability, and team spirit. 
What You’ll Do 
Follow a structured training path to gain technical and operational autonomy 
Set up and dismantle technical workstations at tournaments and events 
Connect and manage devices and networking equipment 
Liaise with local teams to ensure everything runs smoothly 
Troubleshoot and support live operations with remote assistance 
What We’re Looking For 
Proficiency in English 
Excellent communication and teamwork skills 
Flexibility and adaptability, even on short notice 
Ability to work under pressure 
Interest in sports, especially tennis, to understand the event context 
Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail 
A valid passport and passion for traveling worldwide 
Nice to Have 
Technical or IT advanced background (networking) 
Additional languages 
Experience with live events, sports, or media production 
Familiarity with AV connections (fiber, SDI, XLR, monitors, audio) 
Certification for Working at Heights
