We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking general and basic social compliance assessments based on established procedures and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Conducting thorough assessments of social compliance procedures
* Delivering high-quality reports according to protocols and timelines
* Maintaining knowledge of local labor laws and regulations
* Interacting with internal team members, including training, coordination, and administration
* Working with colleagues to accomplish tasks during on-site assessments and reporting processes
The Successful Candidate:
To be considered for this role, the candidate should possess:
* A university degree in Labor Law, Human Resources, Social Work, Occupational Health and Safety, or Environmental Studies
* Sufficient professional experience to meet auditor expectations
Requirements:
* In-depth understanding of international, national, and local laws and standards relevant to labor compliance
* Cultural sensitivity and awareness of region-specific issues
* Proven ability to conduct supplier compliance assessments, including confidential worker interviews and wage tests
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English
* Travel flexibility and excellent time management skills
