The company is a long-standing partner of space institutions, delivering solutions for Earth Observation, scientific data platforms, and operational digital environments. In this role, you will work onsite at ESA-ESRIN (Frascati), collaborating closely with scientific and technical experts while supporting both evolutionary development and corrective maintenance of ESA’s web platforms. We are looking for a motivated Full-Stack Web Developer with strong foundations in PHP/Laravel and SQL, eager to grow within a technical, scientific and multicultural environment. A B2 level of English is required due to daily interactions with ESA teams and international stakeholders. /p h3YOUR TASKS /h3 ul liDeveloping, maintaining, and enhancing web applications supporting European space initiatives. /li liWorking with PHP, Laravel (nice to have), WordPress, and related technologies used across ESA platforms. /li liImplementing new features and improvements in collaboration with scientific and technical teams. /li liPerforming debugging, bug fixing, and analysing issues across the full stack. /li liManaging web content, modules, and service components. /li liWriting, optimising, and debugging SQL queries, stored logic, and data workflows. /li liEnsuring compliance with ESA technical requirements, documentation procedures, and security constraints. /li liParticipating in technical discussions, requirement reviews, and internal coordination meetings. /li liProducing and maintaining technical documentation according to ESA standards. /li /ul h3YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE /h3 ul liStrong knowledge of PHP (mandatory) and SQL (mandatory). /li liExperience with web frameworks; familiarity with Laravel is a strong plus, as several components rely on it. /li liExperience with WordPress or similar CMS tools used across the ESA environment. /li liKnowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript for front-end adjustments. /li liAbility to work on maintenance, bug fixing, and feature evolution in a full-stack context. /li liUnderstanding of web architectures, APIs, and integration workflows. /li liAbility to follow technical specifications, compliance guidelines, and structured change processes. /li liStrong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude. /li liAbility to work effectively in a multicultural, international, scientific environment. /li liApprox. 1-3+ years of experience in web development (flexible depending on skills and potential). /li /ul h3EXTRA INFORMATION /h3 pLocation: ESA-ESRIN, Frascati (Rome) /p pWork location: Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote /p pEnvironment: Highly technical, scientific and international ESA setting /p pStart: Immediate /p h3Eligibility /h3 ul liEU Citizens /li liNon-EU Citizens already based in the EU with a valid work permit /li /ul pThis is a unique opportunity to contribute directly to European space missions, supporting Earth Observation platforms and large-scale scientific initiatives.
