As part of their continued growth, we are looking for a Laser Communication System Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team working on cutting-edge optical systems for both terrestrial and space environments.

The RoleAs a Lasercomm System Engineer, you will contribute to the design and development of advanced optical ground systems and laser communication technologies, supporting projects from early concept through to testing and validation.
Leading system-level activities for optical ground stations and laser communication systemsDefining system architecture, sizing, and performance budgetsManaging subsystem requirements and interface definitionsPerforming analysis, modelling, and simulation of optical systemsDefining verification and validation strategiesSupporting integration, verification, and experimental testing (lab and field)Producing high-quality technical documentationCoordinating subcontractors and overseeing technical deliveryActing as a technical interface with customers and stakeholders
Your BackgroundMaster's degree or PhD in Engineering, Physics, or a related field~3+ years of experience in optical systems, particularly within laser communications or photonicsStrong team player with a proactive and detail-oriented mindsetComfortable working across multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electronics, operations)Good communication skills in English
