Context:
As an IT Business Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of innovative business and functional requirements, including collection from stakeholders, defining and designing requirements, aligning and prioritizing them based on the product vision, and monitoring development using project-specific methodologies.
You will oversee software implementation iterations, ensuring practices, rules, and values are understood and behaviors are compliant with Trace One's methodology. You will also ensure that goals, scope, and product domain are clearly understood by all project team members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead workshop sessions with customers to capture and document requirements effectively.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously according to statements of work.
* Deliver system design elements, including data migration rules, business rules, and prototypes.
* Collaborate with Project Management, Product, Regulatory, and other departments to design solutions that meet project constraints.
* Coordinate with the Enterprise Solution Architect to design solutions via the Business Blueprint document.
* Refine and document detailed user requirements, providing clarity for Development and QA teams.
* Work with project teams to enforce best practices and optimize core product reuse, refining requirements with Professional Services and end customers as needed.
* Validate products during development phases following project-specific methodologies.
* Support QA testing processes, including developing user acceptance criteria.
* Assist in training efforts across Services, Sales, and Marketing departments.
* Develop and provide expertise in PLM solutions.
* Contribute to business case development for innovation proposals.
* Support Sales and Pre-Sales teams with RFIs and RFPs when required.
* Collaborate with third-party entities such as system integrators and consultants.
Core Competencies:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
* Ability to demonstrate software and communicate at both business and technical levels.
* Proactive leader capable of facilitating requirement-gathering sessions.
* Fast learner of new products, systems, and technologies.
* Strong collaboration skills with internal and external clients, including participation in user workshops.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for requirements gathering.
* Experience in PLM software implementations, preferably in the food & beverage industry.
* Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Education & Experience:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in preparing functional requirements, use cases, business process modeling, and creating use-case or sequence diagrams, preferably in the Food & Beverage industry.
* Knowledge of the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
* Experience with software design and modeling tools such as UML.
Expected travel within the country and internationally.
