RWE Renewables, part of the RWE Group and a global leader in the renewable energy sector, operates in more than 20 countries across five continents. Within the Finance Team of RWE Renewables Italia, we are looking for an Accounting Intern (d/f/m) to support our administrative and finance activities.
You will join the Accounting Team in Italy and work closely with colleagues in the Finance Department, supporting day-to-day accounting and administrative activities. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Italian statutory accounting principles and to understand the financial processes of a multinational company.
About the role
1. Support in preparing periodic accounting and financial documentation
2. Verify the accuracy of accounting records and perform related reconciliations
3. Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, including document control
4. Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations for the Finance Team
5. Support basic tax-related activities (e.g., data collection for Intrastat, Esterometro, VAT)
6. Participate in team meetings and liaise with other departments and suppliers on administrative matters
7. Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives within accounting processes
Job requirements and experience
8. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration (completed or ongoing)
9. Strong interest in accounting and administrative processes
10. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
11. Attention to detail, proactivity, and ability to work in a team
12. Good command of both Italian and English (spoken and written)
13. Previous experience or university internship in accounting is considered a plus
