Workplace Health and Safety Manager Role

About the Role
* Provide WHS support to multiple sites within a region, executing company safety policies and ensuring compliance to all applicable local and regional regulations.
* Leverage lean principles and kaizens to lead continuous improvement initiatives, reducing conditional and ergonomic risk in processes and ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.
* Analyze WHS metrics and review incident weekly and monthly trends to discover patterns and rationalize resource allocation.
* Perform frequent site safety audits to identify non-compliance equipment and/or processes and implement solutions to eliminate exposure to these risks.
Responsibilities
1. Possess a thorough understanding of local/regional regulations and company policy.
2. Measure sites' performance against published requirements in WHS policies, identifying plans to address deficiencies.
3. Deliver quality projects to operations, analyzing WHS metrics and reviewing incident trends.
4. Audit record-keeping practices and Gensuite entries to align with global safety standards and local regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
* 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
* Strong analytical skills, demonstrated problem-solving ability, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
