Who are we looking for?
We are currently searching for Long Term ETS Portfolio Officer, based in Rome office (Viale Giorgio Ribotta 31).
ENGIE Supply & Energy Management (S&EM) provides energy supply solutions and risk management services to support its clients through their decarbonization journey, while optimizing ENGIE’s assets and contributing to value creation.
What will you do?
Long Term ETS Portfolio Officer candidate will be part of Assets Optimization and Trading (AOT, one of the local Business Entities of Global Energy management Italy –SEM Italy– ). His/her role will be contributing to create value around SEM Italian assets.
Based on its perimeter defined by Long Term ETS Portfolio Manager the candidate will:
* Manage and optimize third parties asset portfolio creating value for SEM Italy
* Develop costing tool for PPA / third parties assets offers
* Develop Green Assets production forecast model
* Develop and support ETS portfolio budget process
* Estimate risks associated of renewable assets management and power purchase agreement (PPA)
* Manage Power assets portfolio, maximizing results and minimizing risk, through all flexibility offered by the markets
* Assess market strategies of competitors through the development of new analysis tools
* Actively support SEM Italy platform business development
* Propose improvement of models, processes & IT tools and follow up implementation
About you:
* Degree in Engineering/Finance/Economics/Mathematics
* At least 3 years of experience in the Italian electricity market
* Excellent attitude in quantitative analysis and probabilistic model
* Knowledge of global energy markets & of trading environment
* Attitude to change, \"mobility\", \"flexibility\" is required
* Strong team player; humble and communicative. Interested to others opinion
* Strongly customer oriented. Respectful of others stakeholders and polite
* Eager to learn new things; curious and passionate in commodities and financial markets and new developments in the energy sphere
* Strong analytical skills and ability to apply those skills in a practical fashion
* Strong work ethic, attention to details and risk awareness
* An attitude and practice of proactive idea generation and continuous review and improvement of processes
* Fluent English and Italian
* Good knowledge of Python and programming languages
* Proficient knowledge of Excel
