The role, reporting directly to the Material Planning Manager, will be managing the material procurement according to the production plan requirements and expectations. /p pb Key Responsibilities /b /pulli Issue purchase orders through Oracle MRP /lili Ensure that quantities and delivery dates are confirmed by suppliers after order submission /lili Maintain updated sourcing rules in consultation with the Manager /lili Guarantee material availability to meet production plan requirements and Oracle system expectations /lili Check daily production shortages and participate in production meetings with all necessary answers /lili Ensure timely arrival of materials on the line, using the fast-track file if needed /lili Expedite materials and proactively seek alternative solutions in case of issues with quantities or delivery dates /lili Verify discrepancies between invoice and order prices /lili Provide support in case of supplier non-conformities /lili Weekly alignment of supplier order portfolio and system clean-up /lili Maintain supplier master data - item information (empty planner, lead time, minimum lot size) /lili Manage and update supplier price lists in Oracle /lili Handle subcontracting orders when required /lili Collaborate and support production for all material supply requests /lili Coordinate with buyers for supplier meetings /lili Support Logistics in organizing transportation to optimize costs, ensure punctual deliveries, and maintain inventory levels /lili Identify opportunities for cost savings or improved delivery dates (TCO) /lili Support the continuous improvement process by introducing Lean and Just-in-Time tools for supplier deliveries, such as Kanban, e-Kanban, and supermarket systems /lili Manage the in-transit goods file /lili Report the expiration of framework agreements /li /ul pb Qualifications /b /pulli Bachelor’s degree in Management Engineering or a related field. /lili Previous experience in material planning or a similar role, ideally within the manufacturing or automotive industry (2-3 Years Mininum) /lili Excellent knowledge of Excel. /lili Proficiency in management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems: Oracle) and in MRP procurement processes. /lili Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a problem-solving mindset. /lili Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment /lili Knowledge of the main product categories /lili Fluent English (Written and Spoken) /li /ul pb What We Offer /b /pulli An opportunity to work within a dynamic and innovative team in a growing international organization. /lili Career development and training opportunities. /lili A supportive and collaborative work environment. /li /ul pb Workplace /b /pulli Casole D’Elsa /li /ul p If you feel you have the right skill set to meet the role then please do not hesitate to contact us. /p
