We are looking for a talented and focused System Administrator to join our IT Team.
The role is focused on the advanced technical support, optimization, and strategic evolution of our core IT infrastructure.
You will be the go-to expert for resolving complex technical challenges, implementing new solutions, and ensuring the robust stability, security, and efficiency of our systems.
This is a hands-on position, demanding strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technology.
Responsibilities
You will optimize system performance and resource utilization, ensuring high availability of IT services.
You will implement and manage virtualization platforms and, potentially, cloud infrastructure.
Moreover, you will diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network connectivity issues requiring specialized knowledge.
Serve as a point of escalation for IT support teams handling challenging technical problems.
In addition, you will participate in and lead the technical aspects of IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure expansions.
Implement and maintain advanced security configurations for systems and networks, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal security policies.
Manage and maintain complex network infrastructure components, such as routers, switches, VPNs, and wireless solutions.
Monitor network traffic, identify bottlenecks, and ensure optimal network performance.
Administer Active Directory, identity management systems, and other core IT services.
Create detailed technical documentation for system architectures, configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and project implementations.
Requirements
3-5 years of experience in systems engineering or related roles, preferably in a hybrid infrastructure environment.
Expertise in administering and troubleshooting Windows Server and/or Linux operating systems.
Strong command of networking protocols and infrastructure (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPN).
Proven experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware).
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure) is highly desirable.
Familiarity in scripting for automation (PowerShell, Bash).
Solid understanding of IT security best practices and tools.
Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP.
Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery methodologies.
Fluency in English is a must.
A good team player & exceptional communication skill.
Strong Problem Solving and critical thinking abilities.
