Find out more at /p pbYou will be reporting to /b Finance Director of Rockwool Core Solutions /p pbLocation: /bMilano, Italy /p pYou will be responsible for providing high‑quality financial insight, accurate reporting and robust performance management support to the business. The role ensures that financial results are correctly recorded, analyzed and explained, and that management has the data and analysis needed to make sound, timely decisions. You play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial analysis, and actively contribute to improving processes, internal controls and overall financial performance, challenge and support the Business unit Directors on the performances. You will work closely with Group Finance, Operations and other functional teams within the ROCKWOOL organization. /p h3This is the role: /h3 ul liPrepare, analyze and validate monthly, quarterly and annual management reports, including PL, DSO and claims management. /li liSupport the planning cycle, including annual budget, forecasts and long‑term plans, ensuring alignment with Group guidelines /li liPerform variance analysis (Actual vs Ly forecast) and provide clear, insightful commentary on key drivers and trends. /li liAct as a finance business partner to Business unit Directors and other functions challenging assumptions and supporting data‑driven decisions. /li liEnsure compliance with ROCKWOOL financial policies, internal controls and relevant accounting principles. /li liSupport cost control and productivity initiatives, including analysis of production costs, overheads and CAPEX projects where relevant. /li liPrepare ad hoc financial analyses, business cases and scenario simulations for management Team. /li liContribute to continuous improvement of controlling, reporting, and planning processes, including digitalization and standardization initiatives. /li liCollaborate with Local OPCO, Shared Service Centers and Group functions to ensure data quality, consistency and timely closing. /li liAssessing the Customer risk through analyzing their performances over the past years /li liSupport internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations and follow‑up on findings. /li liEnsures that internal control requirements and financial policies are adhered to, escalating issues where necessary. /li liContributes directly to performance improvement through identification of risks, opportunities and efficiency gains. /li /ul h3This is who you are /h3 ul liUniversity degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration. /li li8-10 years of relevant experience in controlling, financial analysis, audit or similar finance roles. /li liStrong knowledge of management financial analysis; familiarity with IFRS. /li liExperience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP or similar) and Strong Experience with BI tools (e.g. PowerBI or similar), Excel skills and strong proficiency in MS Office. /li liExperience with budgeting, forecasting and performance management processes. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and translate them into business insights. /li liAbility to translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights. /li liHigh level of accuracy, structure and attention to detail. /li liExperience in a manufacturing industrial environment is beneficial. /li /ul ul liStrong communication skills, business partnering mindset with the ability to challenge and support stakeholders constructively. /li liHigh level of integrity, reliability and sense of ownership. /li liProactive, solution‑oriented and curious, with a drive for continuous improvement and optimization. /li liAbility to work both independently and as part of a team, collaborating across functions and levels. /li liStrong organizational and time‑management skills, able to handle multiple missions and deadlines. /li liAdaptable and resilient in a changing environment. /li liAbility to lead projects /li /ul ul liFluent in English written and spoken.
