Currently, we are strengthening our team within the Construction area.
Location: Buttrio (UD) / Brescia (MI)
Responsibilities
- The scope of the Instrumentation Design Engineer is the development of instrumentation engineering and support for the process, through the optimization of control loops, in the context of industrial plants such as steel mills, rolling mills, direct reduction plants, degassing plants, galvanizing, painting, and related auxiliary plants (water treatment plants, compressed air production, oxygen production, gas reduction stations, smoke treatment).
- The design activity of the instrumentation engineer takes place within a working group (Piping/Instrumentation Plant Office) and is normally coordinated by a senior PE (project engineer) reference for the
- The instrumentation engineer interfaces with references from other disciplines (process engineers, piping engineers, civil engineers, electricians, HVAC engineers, mechanical engineers, automation specialists) to define process control loops and agree on the most effective technical choices in light of various requirements (type of Process, Client, Regulations) and contractual constraints, plant constraints, budget constraints. The scope of comparison is both internal to the office and with other Product Lines (LdP) and affiliates.
- He also compares with the purchasing office in the phase of requesting offers to suppliers, validating offers and following up on product instrumentation and control valves/electropneumatic supplies.
- In the performance of the project, he provides technical support to the site and to PM in technical discussions with final clients, consultants and suppliers.
