Position Summary We’re looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer in Rovereto (TN). The candidate will be a key member of the Quality Team, responsible for managing supplier non-conformities impacting the Rovereto Plant and overseeing sampling activities and approvals. Main Responsibilities Evaluate and manage the PPAP (Product Part Approval Process) for new programs, engineering changes, and process improvements received from suppliers. Review and approve supplier PPAP submissions. Support the APQP process. Monitor supplier quality non-conformances in Dana1Source for compliance and current requirements, identifying and escalating high-impact issues. Travel to suppliers as necessary and generate visitation reports. Track and resolve supplier concerns proactively. Work effectively in a team environment and promote continuous improvement in plant operations. Prepare periodic reports and presentations for managers and plant personnel. Review the status of engineering deviations and change reports. Job Position Requirements Education: University bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering. Professional Background: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, or Quality Engineering preferred. Experience in a Quality department, preferably within the automotive sector, with 3-4 years of experience. Basic knowledge of automotive core tools (such as PPAP, FMEA, APQP, GD&T, Gage R&R, Calibration, SPC) and international standards like ISO 14001. Understanding of technical drawings. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, and computer skills in a Windows environment using Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective interaction with all levels within Dana, internal customers, and external suppliers.
