Key Responsibilities:
Application Analysis & Development
* Support the collection and documentation of functional and technical requirements by working closely with business and technical stakeholders.
* Translate business needs into clear, structured technical documentation
* Assist in the development and maintenance of basic software components (frontend/backend), following team guidance.
* Contribute to the design and modeling of IT processes and application workflows
* Participate in testing and support quality assurance activities
* Document technical solutions and contribute to user manuals or support documentation
Academic IT Support & Field Interaction
* Provide technical support to faculty, students, and staff for devices and applications (e.g., PCs, projectors, printers, BlackBoard, O365, etc.).
* Interact directly with users to understand their needs, identify recurring issues or in efficiencies, and help design more effective, user-centered solutions
* Help transform support cases into opportunities for improvements through automation or smarter system configurations
* Aid in setting up and maintaining classrooms and labs
Qualifications:
* Degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
* Familiarity with at least one development framework: (.NET, Angular or React – even via university/personal projects)
* Basic understanding of relational or NoSQL databases
* Interest in Agile methodologies and understanding of the CI/CD development life cycle
* Strong analytical and problem-solving attitude
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: you enjoy talking to people and finding solutions together
* Proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn by doing
* Bonus skills (not mandatory but nice to have): Knowledge of Azure DevOpsor different similar tools
