Job Description
The System Engineer will define, implement, maintain the System architecture in conjunction with all the other teams belonging to the R&D; community.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement mid to complex subsystems within a larger embedded system.
- Understand correlations among different parts of the system: mechanics, optics, electronics and software.
- Give the Team feedbacks about criticalities that may impact on program’s schedule.
- Have full control on Bill Of Material cost target and implement effective strategies to minimize it.
- Take design choice in a cooperative process and be able to sustain deep technical discussion.
- Troubleshoot the design, interact with Validation and Verification team in a fruitful manner.
- Give support to SQA activity, such as documentation, requirements building and process integration.
- Report Programs’ status to stakeholders via Technical Reviews and presentations.
- Manage interactions with other departments (i.e. Procurement, Operations) in order to have the best technical solutions in terms of functionalities and product manufacturing
- Job Details & Specifications
- Electrical design and/or C/C++ in embedded systems.
- EMC implications in system design for Reliability and Safety standards.
- Linux and/or Real Time OS.
- Knowledge of software design for radio/communication protocols is a plus.

Requirement:
Education - Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering or Computer Engineering / Computer Science
Languages - Italian – Fluent English
Experience: 3/4 years of experience in embedded systems development in medium-large organizations with well-established processes (requirements tracking, configuration and bug tracking, requirements, git flow, etc.)
