We are looking for experienced dubbing professionals — not translators.
This role is for specialists who understand how dialogue must perform on screen. You will receive an already translated script in your native language, and your responsibility will be to refine and adapt it so it works naturally for dubbing and precise lip-sync.
If your background is primarily subtitle or written translation, this role is probably not the right fit.
Your Role
* Review completed translations intended for dubbing
* Rewrite and adjust lines to match lip movements and articulation
* Ensure natural spoken rhythm and performance flow
* Improve breath logic, stress patterns, and sentence timing
* Eliminate literal or "translated" phrasing
* Align tone and emotional intention with on-screen acting
* Act as the final dialogue gatekeeper before recording
This is dialogue adaptation and performance polishing — not translation.
What We're Looking For
* Native-level command of the target language
* Proven experience in dubbing adaptation / dialogue editing
* Strong understanding of lip-sync mechanics (mouth shapes, pacing, open/closed sounds)
* Sensitivity to spoken language vs. written structure
* Ability to creatively reshape dialogue while preserving meaning
* Experience working with voice actors or recording sessions — a strong advantage
Not a Fit If
* Your experience is mainly subtitle translation
* You work primarily with written/localization content
* You do not have hands-on dubbing or lip-sync adaptation experience
Project Scope
* Ongoing freelance collaboration
* TV series, films, unscripted, documentary
* Remote work
