Overview Location: Milan, MilanoIT — Job ID REQ-055580 We are looking for a Field Application Specialist (FAS) with a strong background in inorganic analytical techniques, particularly Atomic Absorption (AA), Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP), and Mass Spectrometry (ICPMS). The FAS will play a key technical role supporting both the sales team and customers, providing expert guidance, training, and application development in the pre- and post-sales phases. We welcome applications from candidates with relevant lab experience looking for a career change, as well as proven FAS with commercial experience. Responsibilities Conduct hands-on instrument demonstrations for AA, ICP, and MAS systems at the CKC demo laboratory in Milan and occasionally at customer sites. Support Sales Representatives during customer visits, offering deep technical expertise throughout the sales and evaluation process. Contribute to the definition of technical specifications in commercial offers, ensuring the proposed solutions meet customer requirements. Prepare application data and documentation to support participation in public tenders and procurement bids. Contribute to customer-facing events, including webinars, seminars, workshops, and product presentations. Develop Application Notes and relevant technical materials related to inorganic analysis workflows. Deliver post-sales training and technical support to customers (including customers' site), ensuring correct and efficient use of instruments and methods. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master\'s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline. Hands-on experience with AA, ICP-OES/MS, and/or microwave digestion systems is required. Previous experience in a technical support, application, or analytical laboratory role is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to engage with customers. High level of organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
