Amazon Freight is a fast‑growing startup externalising Amazon’s transportation capabilities as a service. It provides truckload and intermodal services on the world‑class network and capabilities currently used to operate Amazon’s own freight movements.
As a Senior Account Executive this role will oversee relationships with Amazon Freight’s largest customers. The incumbent will drive new business growth by unlocking new commercial opportunities and selling creative solutions aligned to customer needs while also maximizing retention of an existing portfolio of business. The position will build and customise solutions with internal Pricing, Sales, and Operations teams that unlock new business and deliver a high‑quality customer experience.
As the primary relationship manager, the Senior Account Executive will be responsible for customer advocacy, collaborating to deliver on commitments, driving continuous improvement and creating a high‑performing profitable business with the customer(s). The role requires a collaborative business‑builder mindset to work cross‑functionally in a startup environment at Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the primary commercial relationship with the customer’s executive decision makers, ensuring healthy engagements that enable profitable business growth.
- Define the account growth plan, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for alignment, and execute the plan to deliver on business objectives.
- Identify new growth opportunities and define business plans to achieve goals.
- Partner with operations leaders to define scalable operating plans that meet target financial outcomes.
- Prioritise and effectively communicate asks of partner teams to unlock new business opportunities across the portfolio.
- Manage the opportunity pipeline and monitor the health of the account, including customer KPI review, revenue‑quality monitoring, identifying additional opportunities, and ensuring contractual adherence.
- Be a trusted partner to Shipper / 3PL / Broker / Managed Transportation customer segments, helping customers and internal stakeholders maximise targeted business outcomes.
Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of go‑to‑market, business development, sales, or consulting experience.
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organisational level.
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience developing, leading, negotiating and executing corporate and/or business transactions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience identifying, negotiating and executing complex legal agreements.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
