Role Summary and Impact WPP Media is looking for a Financial Controller who will be involved in supporting the Financial Control and Reporting team in all the activities regarding financial planning, analysis and reporting. He/She will actively participate in all key financial processes: month/quarter/year ends, business reviews, forecasting and budgeting and therefore having daily interactions with the wider Finance team, mainly administration and agency Finance. We expect the candidate to also be able to engage and interact outside the Finance community, to analyze and communicate business results to key stakeholders and to participate to the continuous improvement of our internal processes. Responsibilities Support to month end closure activities and reconciliations Preparation of month end reporting packages and relevant documentations Actual data analysis, key deviations from budget/previous year Support to financial planning cycle: data collection, template automation and consolidation, related reporting activities Support the Business Unit with analysis and performance Develop and maintain KPIs, performance metrics, and dashboards Deliver monthly analyses with the aim to identify potential issues and variances vs budget/forecast and PY in order to control, correct and monitor Participate in budget and forecast processes, with a particular focus on the business partnership with the Commercial Finance Team Contribute to monthly closing activities and periodic forecasting processes in collaboration with business stakeholders Develop, implement, and maintain ERP tools and standardized processes to meet business needs Act as a proactive and trusted business partner by providing guidance, support, and actionable insights About You The candidate should be graduate, preferably Master's Degree in Business or Economics studies 2/3 years previous experience in Finance Controlling Previous Experience in Media Industry or Audit will be a plus Good knowledge of English both written and spoken Basic accounting knowledge Strong analytical skills and detail oriented Excellent organizational & multi-tasking skills Good interpersonal skills and keen to work in a fast-paced environment Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, excel and power point) Hard worker Able to work in team Passionate Life at WPP Media & Benefits Our passion for shaping the next era of media includes investing in our employees to help them do their best work, and we're just as committed to employee growth as we are to responsible media investment.
