The department runs our warehouse operations, the backbone of our supply chain, in our Mediterranean (MED) sales business unit. Our MED Warehousing Operations team supports the business by securing timely availability and reliability on delivery of spares, main components, and tools. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Transport Supervisor who will be responsible for supervising blade handling activities, semi-finished products, and waste management, both in onshore and offshore contexts. You will work closely with direct reports (Team Leaders), operational teams, various Vestas entities involved in the processes, and external companies, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and efficiency standards. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliSupervise handling activities and waste management /liliEnsure that all operations are carried out in compliance with strict safety and quality requirements /liliParticipate in projects related to their area of expertise /liliServe as a point of reference for the factory and other Vestas entities /liliUse management systems (SAP) and other digital tools /liliIdentify and correct any discrepancies or errors in processes, whether technical or operational /liliOrganize and attend meetings with internal and external personnel, both in Italy and abroad /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field /liliMinimum of 2–3 years of professional experience in transport or logistics-related roles /liliProficiency in English (spoken and written) /liliExperienced leadership and people management skills /liliSolid background in waste management, with full knowledge of relevant regulations and procedures /liliAbility to perform effectively in complex and high-pressure environments /liliExperience in managing large-scale handling operations effectively /liliEffective team spirit and a highly collaborative mindset /liliProblem-solving capabilities, communication, and decision-making skills /liliOrganizational skills with meticulous attention to detail /liliPractical knowledge and experience with IT systems and platforms (e.g. MS Office, SAP, AutoCAD) /liliEffective interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage in constructive and professional dialogue /liliProactive attitude with a strong results-oriented approach. /li /ulh3What We Offer /h3pWe offer an exciting job in a motivated and international environment.
